Transport of the equipment weighing approximately 40 tonnes. The floor expansion joints are covered with special adhesive tape to prevent unwanted air leakage. This could cause impaired handling of the load as it would not be lifted evenly. In the extreme case, the cushion could blow out completely and the load would stop lifting altogether. Metal plates are placed on the cushions to evenly load the cushion and to define the gap between the cushion and the load.
